Cart/Basket/Checkout Product Options – Image meta titles shortened with '…'

Hello, great plugin.
I have product options (paint options) made up of image meta with a title. When shown in the cart or in sidebar basket or at checkout the image titles (paint/image description/name) are shortened with three dots ‘…’
My image titles are already short – eg:
‘Coastal Mist’ has become ‘Coastal Mi…st’
‘Willow’ has become ‘Willow…’
‘Maple Leaf’ has become ‘Maple Leaf…’
& ‘Old English Green’ has become ‘Old Englis…een’
etc.
Is there away to stop this and echo the full titles?

we noted this request and will add some filter so users can show it full or hidden titles in cart page.

Jake I checked and found filter is already there 🙂

add_filter('ppom_trim_file_maxchar', function ($max_char) {
$max_char = 50;
});

You can change length of filename as per your need.

Hi Thanks but unfortunately after adding that filter to functions.php the titles were lost completely and only the ‘…’ remained….

add_filter(‘ppom_trim_file_maxchar’, function ($max_char) {

Update:
the filter has not made any difference to the sidebar basket (original problem persists) and at checkout page it has rendered only ‘…’ with the titles missing completely as above…

Am i doing something wrong?

Hi,

well we have fixed this issue in version 13.5 and it will be released in couple of days, you can use following code once it’s release

add_filter('ppom_trim_file_maxchar', 'add_filename_limit', 99, 1);
function add_filename_limit( $char_limit ) {
    
    $char_limit = 50;
    
    return $char_limit;
}
