We are deleting files from the User Files section in the admin bar. It deletes the post but does NOT remove the files from the server. We need the files to be removed from the server. How can we accomplish that without having to do twice the work?
Seems like it may be due to your system not looking in the correct directory. it saves the files in the proper place(s), but doesn’t seem to find the file for deletion…

regarding file delete, we have page/menu User Files under File Manager Page. Here you can see files by users and it deletes file from server.
This does not work for several reasons:
1) We get an error message when we try to use this.[Fatal error: Call to undefined method NM_WP_FileManager_Addon::render_file_share_users() in /home1/hamlinmj/public_html/qbr2015/wp-content/plugins/nm-file-upload-manager-pro/templates/admin/_template_list_files.php on line 247]
2) You cannot search for the user – so you have to scroll through pages and pages to find anything – it is not acceptable. You have to page through dozens of pages…
They way we tried to do this is with the User Files Menu and delete a file from there (which makes much more sense) it deletes the file from the WordPress screen – but leaves it on the server…
Please advise ASAP.
In addition – in the new version, it does not seem to let us add more fields to the upload – which was working in the previous version. When we go the “File Manager” menu and select File Manager and then go to the File Meta Tab – we are able to add a field and set the various options; however, those do not seem to show.
Also, we are unable to get this to work at all without a fatal error with Internet Explorer 11.850.15063.0 when trying to show the list of files in our repository – unless we run it in compatibility mode – which is also unacceptable. Please advise.

make sure you have latest version of File uploader (12.1.2) and Also latest plugin of User Specific addon. We have checked and it’s working fine while deleting user from ‘Users File’

You have not addressed most of the issues we mentioned, and we are not trying to delete a “USER” we are trying to delete files only…Doing it from the User menu does not work as it does not allow you to easily find a user.
As for the appropriate plug-ins – we have downloaded the ones listed in this portal and installed them and it STILL DOES NOT WORK. Further, it has made the custom fields stop working.

You don’t need to go “User” menu, you will see “User files” menu under Filemanger and here you can see users.

well there was issue while deleting file in ‘Users file’, we have fixed this and released version 12.2, will see other issue soon and update.
We uploaded the new version and it still doesn’t work.
We do not want to use “User Files” under File Manager menu as we cannot sort and find the correct user. Why can’t we seem to explain this?
FYI – again – when you go to the File Manager Menu and User Files – they are not listed in Alphabetical order, you cannot sort, and you cannot search, so you have to go through page by page to find the user.

we have added Data Table API in admin now users can easily be searched, also Field meta also saving, there is another button to save fields on top.
