Hello, I have purchased the pro version of your plugin and the User Specific addon . I am trying now to figure out how the system works and I think I almost got the hang of it, with one exception, that is the directory system.
I am testing as a logged in user (I have allowed the upload system only for logged in users). I can upload files normally and I can see them, when I login as administrator in the backend. As a simple logged in user, I can also create directories, in which then I can upload files, which is nice. I can open the specific directory and I see the uploaded files in it.
However, as administrator, in the backend, I can see the files, I can see the created directory but not combined. Maybe I misunderstood the logic of the plugin, but I was expecting, as an administrator, in the backend, to see the direcory, open the directory and see the directory specific files the logged in user has uploaded for me…
What is the logic behind the directories if it isn’t supposed to work like that? Or is there a setting I missed to activate or deactivate? Many thanks in advance

So, if me, as administrator, share a file with a registered member, how is it possible that this specific member gets notified about it automatically after the succesfull share?
PS: One suggestion maybe for one of the next updates. When one views a folder from the frontend, either an empty folder or a folder with images, documents etc… it would be super helpful to have a back button…. Now I am forced to reload the page :/ .

January 23, 2019 at 3:23 pm #10451nmediaKeymasterHi,
we are making videos for File Manager and Add-ons, it will be very clear how it works. for now admin can upload files for users with user specific add-on, but cannot upload file within user’s specific directory. But in future version we will add this feature for sure.
January 23, 2019 at 3:27 pm #10453ZisisParticipantThank you for your feedback, I appreciate it. One thing that I really need help with is the support for IE11… is there a way to make the plugin work for IE11? I know, there is already Edge, but many people are still using IE11 … :/ ….
January 24, 2019 at 3:10 pm #10476nmediaKeymasterZisis,
we wish we could work with IE 11, but IE does not support the latest scripts and also it’s not being updated for the latest changes. We don’t know whey they have not been removing from universe even EDGE is released 🙂
