Hi,
We are running the Pro version 9.0 and free version 11.2.How can I add the file download link in the notification emails? I didn’t see any placeholder for the file attachments, like {message_text} for the message.
In older plugin versions there was the option “File download link send in email”
Thanks

thanks for reaching out, we will consider this option again in new version.
January 9, 2024 at 3:27 pm #157586IvanoParticipantHi Support,
Do you plan to add this feature? Or you are not sure? How long for the new release?
Our client wants to know, otherwise he cannot more use the plugin.
ThanksJanuary 11, 2024 at 4:20 am #157647nmediaKeymasterThis option will be added in this week.

any news? Next week I want to propose your plugin to some clients, but this feature is necessary.
Thanks
February 18, 2024 at 3:53 am #158842nmediaKeymasterHi,
hopefully in this week it will be added.
February 18, 2024 at 5:24 am #158844nmediaKeymasterHi,
I just checked and this feature is already in and working, you need to add shortcode inside email template like: {attachments}
February 18, 2024 at 1:53 pm #158846IvanoParticipantHi,
thanks, {attachments} works. It’s a link to the ‘thumbnail’.
Can I link to the full file? So the user can download the file directly from the email.
In template files I saw the ‘function render_attachments()’ , perhaps I can change the row ‘ $href = $attachment[‘thumbnail’]’, but I don’t know how.
function render_attachments($attachments){
$anchor_html = ”;
foreach ($attachments as $index => $attachment) {
$title = “Attachment ” . ($index+1);
$href = $attachment[‘thumbnail’];
// Generate the HTML for the anchor tag with the desired label/title
$anchor_html = “$title“;
}
return $anchor_html;
}Thanks again.
February 20, 2024 at 9:17 am #158873nmediaKeymasterHi,
we have fixed this issue as well, please download Pro version again from client portal (same version 9.0)
February 20, 2024 at 9:56 am #158874IvanoParticipantHi,
I tested the new version but le link {attachments} it does not works correctly, in the URL is missing the order ID.
For example, this is the link I click from the email:
/wp-content/uploads/wooconvo/65d47477d737e.jpgBut it is wrong, the right url I think should be:
/wp-content/uploads/wooconvo/{order_id}/65d47477d737e.jpgThanks
February 21, 2024 at 6:28 am #158900nmediaKeymasterNow check please.
