filter ppom_make_meta_data_field_type

Since I am doing some customization (which I previously also shared with you).
Could you explain to me how to use ppom_make_meta_data_field_type filter for other types?
For instance, I want to show meta in cart and order differently than stored in session/database
From what I have gathered, you have already a meta field for this:

$hidden 	= isset($meta['hidden']) ? $meta['hidden'] : false;
$meta_name	= isset($meta['name']) ? $meta['name'] : '';
$meta_value = isset($meta['value']) ? $meta['value'] : '';
$display	= isset($meta['display']) ? $meta['display'] : $meta_value;

How would I use this to set the display of textcounter?

Or should I use filter ppom_meta_data_field for this?

here we use this filter to change value of PPOM field for Database:

add_filter('ppom_meta_data_field', 'ppom_change_cart_meta', 99, 4);
function ppom_change_cart_meta($meta_data, $key, $field_meta, $product_id) {
		
		if ($field_meta['type'] != 'imageselect') {
			return $meta_data;
		}

		$meta_data['value'] = $this->create_image_html($meta_data, $field_meta);

		return $meta_data;
	}
