I purchased the add-on for File Uploader Plugin and I am unable to get the group of files to show on page for users to download. Here is what I am doing:
I created a new group under the “File Groups” tab called “Music Files” and gave it the slug “music_files”. Is the slug the group ID?
I then added a new blank page named “My Files” where I added the short code “[nm-wp-file-downloader group_id=”music_files” role=”subscriber”]
On the User page named “Account” with the short code “[nm-wp-file-uploader]” the user uploads his file, then selects the group option “Music Files” and saves his file. The file does show up under “User files” area when logged in as admin on wp dashboard, but just not on front side for “subscribers” to download.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Am I supposed to use the “Add New ” tab and use custom fields for this to work?
I’ve got a problem with the plugin, (I purchased the premium addon Front-end File Upload and Download).
When I create a directory in the Front-end to upload a file inside, I assign a group for the file and the file appear in my list of files uploaded with directories. But when I want to display a group of file on a public page, the page display only my files that are not in directories and not those in directories. So, I can’t sort my files in personal directories if I want to display it on a public page.
Is there a way to do that, create directories on the Front-end and display my files on a page with the same tree ?
Thank you for help
