ParticipantWe’re experiencing a long held issue with updating the PPOM by Nmedia plugin from 24.3 (the last version unaffected) to the current 32.0.2 version. The issue is that the site has ‘mix and match gift pack’ products, an example of which can be seen here: https://www.georgieporgiespuddings.co.uk/product/steamed-sponge-packs/. On the current version these work fine, a user must fill up the required quantity in a mix of the options (8 in this example), users aren’t able to add to basket if the pack contains more or less than 8 items, and the selection boxes pop up a warning and returns that section to an acceptable value. Multiples of these packs CAN be ordered if desired with the selector at the bottom next to the button ( Screenshot 2023-02-09 at 15.17.23.png ), but by default this is set to one pack and is unaffected by the minimum and maximum values set in the PPOM settings ( Screenshot 2023-02-09 at 15.20.25.png ).
The issue comes in when the plugin is updated, after the update the quantity of packs in the order is automatically changed to match the minimum and maximum ( Screenshot 2023-02-09 at 15.23.03.png ) despite the settings in the PPOM. For the product I linked it auto fills to 8 of the packs, rather than the 1 it starts at pre-update, which obviously has the effect of making the price of the item very high.
We’ve narrowed it down, we believe, to the ‘Unlink Order Quantity’ option ( Screenshot 2023-02-09 at 15.26.57.png ) functioning differently pre and post update. It remains ticked on both versions, but on the new plugin version it doesn’t seem to take effect to prevent the minimum and maximum from affecting the quantity of the product itself. We have tried to disable, save, and re-enable that option but that didn’t work, and the minimum quantity must be set in order to prevent people from leaving empty slots in the order.
Please note that we have upgraded to Pro version for this plugin as advised from you.
Are you able to help find a solution for this issue?
I am looking forward to hearing from you
Nigel
