Hi
Have implemented the addon – google font and maps for the PPOM plugin and have tried to test with the test font file there. I dont get a dropdown list despite adding the font in the backend – screenshots of both front end and backend for pluign are on this page, link to the example product where the font plugin is implemented.
Can you please advise as to what is actually wrong as it does in the demo it should be a dropdown.
thanks

May 7, 2018 at 2:53 pm #8750nmediaKeymasterHi Darragh,

May 11, 2018 at 2:51 pm #8754DarraghParticipantHey folks,
This still is not working. While it does show the names of the font, it does not actually show the correct preview of the font. All of the fonts show the same on the front end and I have added a number of fonts and only 1 looks different, can you advise asap as this site is live already.
Please see here – https://candleswithcharacter.ie/product/unity-wedding-candle-copy/
You should be able to login with your existing credentials.
You will also find that for the above product – the following PPOM setting is in place – “Nmediatest”
I ask that you do not alter any other rules in there as this is now a live site.
Please use the PPOM setting Nmediatest and this product only – https://candleswithcharacter.ie/product/unity-wedding-candle-copy/
I need an answer on this asap as i am already way too delayed with this.
May 12, 2018 at 1:56 pm #8762nmediaKeymasterHi,
you had an empty font in list under font families, I have removed and everything works just fine.
May 14, 2018 at 6:41 am #8764DarraghParticipantIm sorry but its still not working, I have followed the same guidelines as provided previously and there are still fonts on this page that do not show the correct preview
See Edwardian Script for example on this page – https://candleswithcharacter.ie/product/unity-wedding-candle-copy/
That is not how edwardian script is meant to look.
Please fix asap remembering only the product in question is allowed to be worked on for testing and the nmediatest ppom setting. You shall not edit any other products.
Thanks
May 14, 2018 at 6:48 am #8765nmediaKeymasterThere is not such font like Edwardian, see this link:
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Edwardian+ScriptMay 14, 2018 at 7:30 am #8766DarraghParticipantOk so in that case does this mean that only google fonts can be used so if edwardian script is not a google font, it cant be used, i.e. if its a font from another provider like the documentation originally stated?
Adding to the fonts folder and the custom font css file?
May 16, 2018 at 2:23 am #8792nmediaKeymasterHi,
yes you can add your own css/font in theme. See/search how to add font css in theme. Once it’s added you can use any non-google fonts.
