Hello.
Having some problems with the price matrix not working the way i hoped for.
All my products are sold with a minimum quantity, for example 100 units/order and at different prices depending on the quantity.
if i set up the price-matrix like following i will encounter 2 problems:
Product base price: $0.3.
Quantity slider on
100-499 units => $0.3
500-999 units => $0.2
1000-5000 units => $0.1
Problem 1:
When a customer enter the product page the default selected quantity is automatically set to 100, this is good. However the customer can still manually choose to buy only 99 units or to buy 5001 units which is creating some problems. When the customer enters a quantity not covered by the price matrix the price/unit is set to the products base price which will result in giving the same price/unit if they buy less than 100 units or more than 5000 units.
Possible solutions to Problem 1:
Here it would be good to have the option to restrain the customer to only add a quantity to the cart covered by the price matrix, and not allow a quantity outside of its range.
It would also be nice if the price matrix allowed you to configure it as follows:
1000+ units => $0.1
instead of
1000-5000 units => $0.1
Problem 2:
I am also having some trouble with the quantity slider on the price matrix. Lets say that you only sell your product with a quantity that is a multiplier of 50. Here the quantity slider with step at 50 is a good solution. However now the customer can only buy the product with a quantity that is a multiplier of 50 +1. For example the customer can add 1, 51, 101 etc. I believe this was added in an update a while ago to resolve that the default quantity was set to 0 instead of 1.
Possible solutions to Problem 2:
Give an option to add that extra +1 product or not so it would be possible to sell quantity at 50, 100, 150, etc.
