Hello,
I would like to disable the auto-sync function of the plugin. After updating the plugin it now adds variation rows back to my sheet which is not what I need. Is there a way I can only have it only sync from my google sheet to my site and not the other way?

For now better to disable the PRO version of Google sync. And whoever you need to use pro feature you can activate it.
