I just wanted to check that I have understood the add-on tax handling status correctly?
If the woocommerce shop is set to display exclusive tax pricing on the product pages, the add-ons and the product prices are tax exclusive and all tax calculations work fine.
If the woocommerce shop is set to display inclusive tax pricing on the product pages, the product prices are tax inclusive, but the add-on prices still exclude tax. So on the product page, the total of product and addons is a mix of inclusive tax and exlusive tax prices i.e. incorrect. In the basket the total price is correct with respect to tax, and different from the total shown on the product pages.
For correct tax inclusive pricing it is possible to select fixed fee and make this taxable. In this case the tax is handled correctly, but the fixed fee is just added once per product, regardless of the quantity of product selected to add to the basket.
Can you please let me know if I have understood correctly? If so, are there any plans to correct the inclusive tax anomaly? With Brexit coming up in the UK I am keen to get the tax display correct for our EU customers.
