I have a field where customers can add text to customize a product. However, we just noticed that when the customer adds text in another language besides the primary language of English, an error occurs, the product can not be added to the cart due to the other language.
How can we overcome this problem? If its just a matter of a few languages (say Russian, Arabic or Hebrew), would it just be a matter of adding files for those languages?
and the pages are set as utf-8 so should in theory accept other characters. The wp_nm_personalized table is collated as utf8mb4_unicode_ci.
Any suggestions of why the field does not accept other language characters?
