AmeriTax: Create Upload Folder For Multiple Users?

I want to create a “2020” directory in every subscribers’ account. Subscribers should be able to upload files to that directory, but they cannot see what other people uploaded to the “2020” directory in their account.

How do I set this up?

Hi Paul,

you can create a default directory for each user in his account with the following settings:

FileManager -> Settings -> Advance -> Default directory.

Here is what I entered for the Default Directory setting:
subscriber|AMERI_Tax_Docs

When I create a new subscriber user, that folder does not appear in the account.

when a user will logged in, he will see the new folder created. And these folders are not physical. These are created with code.

Hello @nmedia

I’m using the latest update of this plugin. When I use the default directory feature, it does not create the directory in wp-content\uploads\user_uploads\

The user I am logged in as is has the standard user role from the “Users” profile location.
When I try to upload, it still reverts to the username directory created in the same file path above.

I believe that something is amiss and is not accepting the role|directory feature…

@NMedia Unfortunate, I don’t have time to wait on a response from you and have convince my client of a different solution that is doable for at time. Your app has been great for us for two years but I never thought that I’d had to wait 12 hours for a response. Thanks for taking us this far.
