Hide custom comment field on post

I want to add a field to get someones mailing address but don’t want it to show on posting. I just want their comment/answer to show on posting. How to I hide this particular field? I tried CSS but there’s no way to differentiate multiple fields and show some and hide others. I purchased the pro version because I thought it did this, but apparently it doesn’t.
