Limit to import

Hi,

I bought the PRO version, but i’m still seeing the limit to import 50 rows… why is this? is anyway to avoid this? because I need to sync 5000 products.

Hi Pagella,

Actually, when you importing a larger set of products it may conflict with your server limitations and request time out. We have no issue to increase product image limits from 50 to 500.

By the way, the limits are not connected to the function, it should import all the products for now, but we will fix this in next version.

But why you said “product image limits” ? I only need to sync a sheet with 5000 products but with only name, sku and inventory number.

I updated today but I’m still receiving the same error:
“woocommerce_rest_request_entity_too_large”, as you said can be related with server limits, but you know how can I fix this?

Second: When I’m trying to import after a few minutes the ajax response is a “server 404” and then this stop the sync… so I imagine that the server isn’t supporting the number of imports? I tried even with 200 and I’m receiving a 404 error after a few minutes…

Is anyway to optimize the plugin to avoid this ? maybe with more intervals? I’m not sure how works this plugin.

Also, If is a server problem, you know which are the min requeriments to be able to sync all the products at once or at least some of them ? I’m not sure how to manage this situation and the client is asking me for a solution (and they want to use google sheets to sync the products).

Hi,

thanks for sharing the limits related filter. We keep trying to optimize this plugin and today we just optimized to import products/categories/variations faster.

And yes we have a plan in the future (Soon) to import products into chunks for a larger set of data. And for now, you have to import products in chunks by turning sync column 1 or null.

Also:

I realized that after a server error the sync columns remains in 0 even if some products were imported… so is possible to change the sync column after each import and not in the end? this can help to know if a product was already sync even if the import stops in the middle of the sheet.

Well, if you send a request for each row to update sync then it will delay the process more.

Question:

I started to sync today 200 products but is still sync, are 4 hs since I started… and I’m not sure if is bugged and isn’t sync or if normal this amount of time? Because I’m watching some ajax request in the console.

This website is running in a dedicated server with 3 Core and 4 GB RAM.

you have some issue with the plugin file or JS error, You need to make sure your dashboard has not any JS error. It should not reload when you click sync.

Make sure you have our latest version 2.1 (free) and PRO version from clients.najeebmedia.com should be installed.
