One of my two malware scanners keeps picking up the Pro version of WP Comments Fields Manager as a trojan. I haven’t messed with it much yet, but I’m worried that this is going to make local development more difficult with this plugin.
It also worries me that the free version that is available on the WordPress.org plugin repository didn’t have this issues, but the Pro version downloaded from your website does get picked up by my malware scanner. I’m sure you have security and code quality checks, but something like this does worry me more when it comes from outside of WordPress.org or another well-known repository.
I was wondering if you might be able to enlighten me as to why this is happening. This is the first time I can remember having this issue with my local development.
